SESAME RICE DESSERT CAKES
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups Jasmin rice
- 3 cups water
- 1 ½ cups unsweetened cocoanut milk
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
Technique
- Combine rice and water in a pot and boil for about 8 minutes.
- Add cocoanut milk and sugar and cook for about 10 minutes.
- You will need to stir frequently to avoid burning the rice.
- Mixture should be sticky and al dente.
- Turn out onto shallow pan and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Refridgerate until cold and cut (make sure knife is wet or it will be hard too sticky to cut)
- Serves 12
