PORK FRIED RICE

Ingredients

  • 8 cups cold cooked jasmine rice
  • 8T vegetable oil
  • 15 cloves ground and mashed
  • 1lb pork cut into thin strips
  • 3 eggs
  • 4T soy sauce
  • 1T fish sauce
  • 1 t white pepper
  • 12 scallions
  • 4T brown sugar


Technique

  • Heat wok up and add oil so that oil rolls all around sides. Add garlic and stir fry til golden. Then add pork.
  • Add eggs and stir fry until eggs are done.
  • Add rice and continue to stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add rest of ingredients and cook for 1 more minute.
  • Transfer to serving platter and garnish with cilantro and chili sauce.
