Servings

  • Serves four


Ingredients

  • 1/2 lbs. Pasta
  • 1 Tablespoon SaltButter
  • Olive Oil or Butter


Technique

  • Bring a covered pot of water to a rolling boil
  • Add 1 Tablespoon of salt
  • Add pasta and stir
  • After 5 minutes taste for doneness. It should be "al dente"
  • When done drain well and transfer to bowl
  • Add some olive oil or butter to prevent sticking
  • Note: If you are making cold pasta salad, rinse with cold water before adding olive oil to pasta
